The problem
Every Hockey Player Has Something.
The hip that always feels tight.
The groin that needs 20 minutes of work before you skate.
The ankle that never completely felt the same after the injury.
The back that starts tightening as the week goes on.
The shoulder you have learned to work around.
Most players do not lack effort. They are already stretching, rolling, warming up, seeing practitioners and trying exercises they saved online.
The problem is often direction.
What does the joint actually need?
More range?
More active control?
More end-range strength?
Better preparation?
Recovery?
A progression back into faster athletic movement?
The Hockey Mobility Membership was built to give hockey players a system for answering those questions.

Mobility is not stretching
Flexibility Gives You Access.
Mobility Gives You Control.
Being able to reach a position does not automatically mean you can control it, create force there or use it when the game speeds up.
That is why Hood Athletic Edge mobility goes beyond stretching and rolling.
We train joints.
We build usable range.
We strengthen difficult positions.
We improve active control.
And once the foundation is there, we progressively connect it back into dynamic athletic movement.
The goal is not to become good at mobility drills.
The goal is to move better so you can express more of your ability as an athlete.
Accessing range is not the same as owning range.
The four jobs of the system
Prepare. Rebuild. Recover. Bulletproof.
Not every day — and not every physical limitation — requires the same kind of mobility work. The Membership is organized around four different jobs.
Prepare
Get the joints and ranges you already possess ready for skating, lifting, speed work or competition. Use short pre-ice and pre-training routines when you need readiness without turning your warm-up into a full workout.
Rebuild
When meaningful range is restricted or missing, use fully coached range-restoration sessions and progressive joint-specific work to begin rebuilding access and control.
Recover
Use lower-intensity movement, controlled isometrics and guided recovery work between demanding practices, games and training sessions when the goal is to support readiness rather than create more fatigue.
Bulletproof
When range exists but needs more active strength and control, use end-range isometrics, lift-offs, hovers, internal strength and progressively more athletic movement to build usable capacity.
These are different tools for different problems. The goal is not to do all four every day. The goal is to know which one your body needs.

Interactive Mobility Guide
Stop Scrolling Through Workouts Wondering What to Do.
A large training library is only valuable if you know how to use it.
The Interactive Mobility Guide acts as the navigation and coaching layer inside the platform.
Tell it what you are experiencing, what you are preparing for and how much time you have. It can ask follow-up questions and help direct you toward a logical workout, library or progression already inside the Membership.
“My groin feels locked up before skating and I have 10 minutes. Where should I start?”
“My ankle has not moved properly since an old injury. What should I look at first?”
“I have good hip flexibility but very little active control. What should I train?”
“I played last night and my hips feel beat up. I want a lower-intensity recovery session.”
The Guide is not the product by itself. The libraries provide the training. The progressions provide the structure. The Guide helps connect what you are experiencing with a logical place to begin.
The Guide is an educational training tool. It does not replace medical assessment, diagnosis or treatment.
The decision-making system
We Do Not Give Every Athlete the Same Mobility Routine.
The Hood Athletic Edge process starts by understanding the problem before choosing the training.
Assess
Use CARs and joint-specific movement to understand available range, active control, pain and compensation.
Rebuild
If meaningful range is missing, begin restoring useful movement.
Bulletproof
If passive range exists but active strength/control is missing, train ownership of that range.
Integrate
Connect the joint back into dynamic, whole-body athletic movement.
Transfer
Progressively expose the athlete to more speed, load, force and hockey-like demands.
Find the limitation. Build the capacity. Use it like an athlete.

Founder story
I Built the System I Wish I Had When My Own Body Started Breaking Down.
For years of my professional career, my body became something I had to manage.
My hips lost massive amounts of movement. My lower back and SI joint constantly compensated. I could spend entire game days stretching, rolling and trying to make myself feel ready to play.
At one point, I was told hip replacements could eventually be in my future.
Finding Functional Range Conditioning changed the direction of my career. It gave me a framework for looking at individual joints, rebuilding lost ranges and strengthening positions I had never actually trained before.
Over time, I combined those principles with my own hockey and strength experience and methods learned from other high-level mobility coaches.
The results changed far more than my range of motion.
I put together back-to-back 80-plus-point and 40-plus-goal seasons.
Then, after the final game of year two, I had three goals and three assists.
I remember sitting alone in my stall afterward and realizing that the six points were not what mattered most.
Hockey felt easy again.
My stride felt effortless. My hips felt stable. My knees felt strong. I could fly into battles, move however I wanted and just play.
I felt free.
It felt like I was 15 again.
I can’t believe I got back here.
That was the moment I started thinking about every dressing room I had ever been in.
Everybody has something.
And I realized this system could not stay something I used only for myself.

Describe what is happening and use the Guide to help navigate toward a relevant resource already inside the platform.
Built-In Feature Demonstrations
Short in-app tutorials explaining what each platform feature does, why it is useful, how to use it and how it fits into the larger system.
How to use it throughout the year
Your Body Does Not Need the Same Thing Every Month of the Year.
In-Season
- Pre-ice joint preparation.
- Daily CARs and maintenance.
- Short recovery sessions.
- Targeted work when a range starts feeling restricted.
- Bulletproofing where appropriate without creating unnecessary fatigue.
Off-Season
- Assess what the season left behind.
- Rebuild restricted ranges.
- Develop end-range strength and active control.
- Progress into more dynamic mobility and athletic movement.
- Layer the mobility system underneath strength, speed and power training.
Former Players
- Rebuild movement that has gradually been lost.
- Develop stronger, more trustworthy joints.
- Maintain an active body for training, golf, recreation and life.
- Use the same athlete-focused system without needing to be in-season.
Who this is for
This Is for the Athlete Who Does Not Want Their Body to Be the Limiting Factor.
For hockey players who want to move better, prepare more intelligently, rebuild restrictions, support their training volume and express more of their speed, strength and skill on the ice.
For former players who still feel like athletes and want to rebuild what hockey left behind, train without constantly fighting old limitations and keep doing the things they love.
Not ideal for: People looking for a one-exercise cure, a guaranteed pain fix, or a passive program that requires no consistency.
Social proof
Real Hockey Players. Real Movement Problems. Real Progress.
“Dylan has been crucial in helping me with my adductor issues. I had recurring groin injuries for years, but since I started working with him, my adductors have never felt stronger. He introduced me to a completely new approach to training and strengthening them.”
“Hood Athletic Edge was a game changer for me. At this level, working hard isn’t enough — you have to work smart. This training has helped manage pain, stay healthy, and extend my longevity as an older player.”
“Training with Dylan helped me access ranges of motion I didn’t even know I had — and more importantly, add strength to those end ranges.”
Athlete quotes are individual experiences, not guaranteed outcomes.

This Is a Training System — Not a Magic Fix.
- Meaningful change requires consistency.
- Not every athlete needs the same amount or type of mobility work.
- Some issues require qualified medical assessment or individualized rehabilitation.
- The Membership is designed for training, education and self-guided movement development; it does not diagnose medical conditions.
- Results vary based on starting point, training consistency, injury history and individual response.
We do not promise the answer before we assess the problem.
Is this just stretching?
No. The system includes joint-specific range work, CARs, PAILs/RAILs, end-range strength, lift-offs, internal strength, recovery, preparation and progressively more athletic movement.
How often should I use it?
It depends on your goal. Some members may use daily CARs, short preparation before skating and 2–4 longer mobility sessions per week. Others may focus on a specific range or recovery need. The Guide helps you navigate the options.
Do I need equipment?
Many sessions are bodyweight. Some workouts use bands, light dumbbells, kettlebells, slam balls or other simple equipment. Each workout should list what is required.
Can I use this with my strength program?
Yes. The Membership is designed to complement strength, speed and hockey-performance training rather than replace it.
Can this diagnose my injury?
No. The Membership and Interactive Mobility Guide are training and educational tools, not medical diagnostic services.
What if I do not know where to start?
Use the Interactive Mobility Guide, the built-in feature demos and the Assessment/CARs resources to identify a logical starting point.
Stop Guessing What Your Body Needs.
You do not need another random list of stretches saved on your phone. You need a system that helps you understand what is limiting you, choose the right type of training, build usable movement and keep progressing over time. Prepare. Rebuild. Recover. Bulletproof. Make moving like an athlete feel effortless — and get back to focusing on hockey.
